How do I place an order?
Place an order as you usually would online - the only difference is there is a lead-time whilst we cut, make and QC your special piece! We know this is a different way of shopping but truly believe it is the only way to ethically operate in this industry. Where can we find out your release dates?
Our Instagram is the best place to stay up-to-date with upcoming releases. You can also sign up to our email database at loclaire.com (we don't spam, promise). Finally, we do keep a wait list for our most popular styles, which gives you priority access when they do become available. To join the wait list, please email us at hello@loclaire.com.

How do I place an order with customisation?
Because each piece is made to order, we are able to accommodate simple customisations if you do not fall into the standard size range. Here are a couple of examples of what we can offer:
-Pant and dress lengths tailored to your height
-Different bust / waist / hip ratios (i.e. you may order a pant with a size 6 waist and a size 8 hip)
If you would like to order a piece with simple customisations, please place your order as usual, and specify any changes or notes in the Notes Section at the check out. If you are unsure - please DM our Instagram or send us an email with your enquiry to hello@loclaire.com. Customisations will generally be at no extra cost. We try to be as inclusive as possible!

Why are some pieces no longer available?
Some fabrics I source may only have a small amount available, and therefore can only be made into a limited number of pieces. For these, after the quantity threshold has been reached, the style will no longer be available until I can re-source a new fabric.

How long will my order take to ship?
Your piece will be made by our talented network of makers and are generally ready within 4 weeks from ordering. We will specify if for any reason we anticipate a longer lead time than this. Although we allow a 4 week leadtime, if you have urgency or a specific date you need your piece for, we are always happy to discuss what is possible. For example, if it's not a complicated style and our fabric is in stock, we can generally make a much faster turn around work. Please get in touch at hello@loclaire.com to discuss. You will receive a dispatch email with tracking information once your item has been sent.

What is your returns policy?
Standard made-to-order pieces are subject to our standard 7 days return policy which you can view on our Shipping & Returns page.
In line with our made-to-order zero waste philosophy, we encourage you to make thoughtful, well-researched purchases. Unlike traditional retail where items can be easily returned and re-sold again, made-to-order means every piece is made especially just for you. We provide garment measurements and fit notes on our MTO product pages - please read over these before purchasing. If you are unsure about measurement or fit - please get in touch! We would much rather try to get it right first time with a simple customisation like adding extra length etc.
